Sony® DRIVE-S technology provides the ultimate audio platform, upon which to build a system that caters to demanding ears.
Both of these standards certify that the CDX-HS70MW can withstand long-term exposure to two elements that come in abundance out on the high-seas: Salt and Ultra-Violet light. Bottom line, these elements shouldn’t get the best of your Head Unit.
Two preouts so you can boost your boat's sound system with minimal effort and maximum flexibility.

Cons: Cant program and save Satelite Channels, the manual is not accurate
This unit is in my new 2010 boat, I have found this unit to be very disappointing, the FM and AM channels can be programmed and saved but NOT the Satellite Channels which forces you to have to scroll through the channels manually each time in order to get the right channel. This is a waste of time in my opinion and a design flaw that should be taken care of. Customer service told me that unit is just not set up that way to be able to save Satellite Channels. Had I of known that I would have chosen another brand for this boat. Lesson learned. Also, the manual is hard to follow, and is somewhat of a shotgun approach for several units that was frustraiting as well.
