My First Sony Digital Camera

Pros: Quite a versatile camera.

Cons: No zoom while recording video and video captures focusing noise.

This was the very first digital camera I have bought. My wife and I have been very pleased with the features and the size (not too small and not too big). We weren't able to afford some of the accessories available at the time of our purchase such as the underwater enclosure and power adapter, but wish we could purchase them now, as then we could take full advantage of the capabilities of this great camera. The only con to this camera when you get over the fact that it can't zoom while recording is the fact that the minute sound from the focus motors get captured during video recording. This is no big deal though--it kind of sounds like a cat purring on playback. I only wish Sony would keep a particular style for longer, so the related accessories could be available. This goes for all their products. I generally only buy Sony, but I also like to buy all black items and many items I have purchased have not been available in black to my dismay, such as this camera. All in all, this camera has been one of the best investments we have made.
