Awesome Sound, although fragile

Pros: Excellent Sound Quality

Cons: too fragile, cord's just a bit too long

I've owned 3 pairs of these headphones and all of them have broken where the bracket connects to the left headphone peace. The only reason I keep getting these is because of their great sound quality. A word of advice to you, Sony, replace the plastic bracket with something like graphite or aluminum. It will make these headphones cost more, but will make them all the more reliable.

Works for me

Pros: nice sound, comfortable

Cons: long cord gets in the way sometimes

I've had my pair for a few years now and they've held up really well. I try to take care of them but now the ear pads are wearing away and peeling from age. I thought about upgrading but I guess I'll just buy a new pair of these. Really all I need are the ear pads but I was unable to find any replacements online.

Frame Snaps

Pros: Good sound for price

Cons: Very fragile

I've had 4 pairs of these and every one has broken, either in the joint above the semicircular hoop or the hoop itself (the piece that holds the headphone). I now have 4 pair of excellent transducers (the earpieces) and no way of holding them to my ears. I wish Sony would sell replacement frames.

Broken Promises

Pros: sound

Cons: breakage

I have purchased two sets of the Dynamic Stereo Headphones MDR-V150. I really like the sound of the music with the headphones. I have used them with my laptop. Each set has snapped where the headband connects to the ear pads. That was dissappointing because the sound is great.

Great for sitting at home, but nothing else.

Pros: Beaustiful sound! long cord (see below as well), included 1/16"-to-1/4" headphone adapter

Cons: extremely fragile, cord got tangled and twisted up rather easily, kind of bulky but I personally like bigger head phones

These are not really that portable, while they were light weight. the cord got caught on everything, and it was at an odd length, long enough that it would catch on things as you walked, but too short to really wrap it around something on your person. I've also had some friends who tried them on complain that they were a little tight, and I found them that way at first as well, but I got used to them. These headphones have superb sound, you can pick up on every little nuance, so long as you have higher quality music, a low kb/ps music will result in you just hearing the low quality sounds (cymbals sounding dull, and weird is a a hint that you're listening to a low kb/ps mp3 file). my only gripe is that I've gone through two pairs. on both pairs the left ear phone snapped off after about 6 months light use (placed in their own case on top of a back pack was about as much abuse as these things got). not sure why it was the left side both times, but I have since bought my self different set of head phones. so if you're sitting at home with these on, and you're not really doing anything, I can see these being great head phones, especially with the $20 price tag. but any activity at all, and don't really expect them to last more than 6 months.

Good for the price.

Pros: Nice design, very lightweight, very good price.

Cons: Sound could've been better.

They didn't have the ones I wanted in, I bought these instead and must say that I'm impressed by the quality for twenty dollars. :)

Decent entry earphones

Pros: DJ swivel ear piece, inexpensive

Cons: sound quality.

These are ok headphones for there price point. I bought them simply to hold me over till I get some uber expensive ones to replace my MDR-EX85's that broke. Sound isnt great but these are preaty inexpensive. Decently comfortable but not cloud floting comfortable. Numbers on headband for ajustablity is a great feature.
