Designed with an active lifestyle in mind, the 2GB NW-S205F is the perfect companion on your workouts. The unique, cylindrically shaped MP3 player is packed with features including a calorie counter, pedometer, stopwatch and a built-in FM tuner with programmable presets. Create playlists for your levels of exercise activity and the Music Pacer will switch playlists based on your pace--whether walking or running. The Music Pacer function can be turned on or off at any time. Finally, with the Shuffle Shake feature, easily turn on the shuffle feature simply by shaking the player three times. The NW-S205F touts a durable aluminum construction that is also water-resistant2.

Develops Patience
Pros: Interface problem
Cons: compact & water resist
It could not keep up the same enthusiasm that i had till its arrival . haiving installed the software i realised how painful it is to transfer the songs. how unpredctable it is with its delicate moves for forwarding between folders and songs. It does not stand as a good device whcih can be operated( songs forward or rewind ) without taking a looking at hte device. this is the minimum expectations on these kind of devices. Prakash

loved it for quit a wail
Pros: works great even in the steam room
today i found out that sony connect is gone well i've been busy also i have have try to add song for about a year an dknow have no way to do that my player wil charge but the sonic sound doesn't come up when i plug my or my husbands unit in and when we pull up on our own it not long find our player so i can not add music anymore i figured it just out date but yet i see sony still sale them but mine on;y charges and play know my unit that hold about 1300 song ont has 119 and i can;t add any any more make me made i never got a email baout any chnges connect closing or any of that stuff and i can find any program to down load so i can up load music so now i just mad i got a fue years out of this item and i should problely up date but the time is bad and i'm just not happy about this item not do what it should any more

Very good product
Pros: Good music quality, Solid build, great battery recharge
Cons: Failure of Sonicstage and lack of additional support
Its outlasted our other players. There are many times when we don't want to wear down our phone batteries but prefer to have a separate music player. Music quality is very good, battery life is fine and recharge speed is great. Used by my son and he is very satisfied with it. Just too bad that Sonicstage was discontinued. I wish that they could provide some integration with Media Player or another service. I didn't try the integration with Nike shoes and running speed.
1. User availble memory = 2,035,974,144 bytes, a portion of which is used for data management functions.
2. Calculated on 4 minutes per song in ATRAC @ 48kbps with power save setting on "super", equalizer setting is "off" and G-Sensor setting is "off".
3. Not meant to be immersed or come in continuous contact with water
4. Display must be in super power save mode when playing back in ATRAC3plus @ 132kbps, no equalizer. Actual battery life may vary based on product settings, usage patterns, environment and battery condition.
5. Does not support secure WMA and AAC files purchased from other music services. Only playsback unsecured WMA and AAC files ripped from CD.
6. Not all products with USB 2.0 connectors may communicate with each other due to chipset variations.
7. Music Pacer can only be used when music is playing.
8. Headphones are not water resistant.
