I've had this product for 6-12 months
Pros: Ultimate sound, cool screen features (looks), colors, really nice camera.
Cons: Keypad placement.
Overall, Love, love, love this phone. Sounds great, looks sweet. I use the headset all day everyday. This phone replaces my Ipod. And I think Iphone has too much s I don't need anyway. However, I am using an insurance claim for a replacement W580 because either the connector for the headset is bad or the phone (port) is bad. As I listen to jams, I wiggle the connector forward and backward and the music cuts out. Anyone with this phone, is this a common problem? I have no problem with the charger. I've had phone since Aug 08. Also, headset cord seems to get twisted alot. One more minor complaint, texting is'nt the easiest thing due to the fact that the keypad is so low on the phone. Sometimes I think it would be more ergonomic if the screen was low and the keys were high. Thus far, it's not bad enough to make get a different product.

I got this phone as a replacement for a W300i (after it came out I gave the W300i to my daughter which she loves tremendously) which was a warranty replacement of a Z525. Since I got the phone 16 months ago, I have actually dropped it 4 times from approxamately 3 feet and it only has a couple of small scratches and still keeps on jammin'!! I get signal everywhere I go (att in FL) and the calls come through crystal clear. The speaker on the front gives great sound both as a speakerphone and as a music speaker. The only downfall I have is the fact that you can't charge it and use the jack at the same time. (unless you are hooked to your computer I suppose. (I haven't tried that) The camera takes AWESOME pics! Too bad there isn't a camera exlusive button instead of having to go through the menu every time. One odd thing is: the description on your website says that there is a IR jack, but I have not been able to find one on my phone to save my life!!. I would use that a lot as opposed to using bluetooth so much. (which seems to eat the battery up a lot faster) Otherwise, what an AWESOME phone. I'm gonna try to run this one in the ground before I get a new phone, and at the rate I'm going, that will probably be quite a long time. Thanx Sony for such a GREAT phone!!!

I've always liked Nokia, but this is a cool phone, you have to take good care of it as you'll do with any other object you want to last. I've dropped it a couple times from 5" and it's still working perfectly. Nice and easy to use, great screen colors and images look really nice, average camera, average battery life. The only thing I don't like its that you cannot charge it while listening to your tunes. But the rest of things are alright for its price.

I think it is a good phone, expensive but worth it as long as you are responsible with it and you dont buy it for a 14 yr old. Now i know what your saying, who the heck would buy a kid such an expensive phone? You'd be surprised.

Pros: none
Cons: poor design breaks very very very easily! ! ! !
I purchased this phone one week ago for my 14 year old daughter. she had it in her hand as she got in to bed and the inside lcd screen shattered.when I took the phone in to AT&T where we got it, they said that it had physical damage,(even though there is not so much as a scratch on the outside) and therefor it was an insurance issue not a manufacture defect. I DISAGREE!!!!! if a phone is marketed to teens it, should hold up to teens so if you buy this phone be prepaired to pay the extra insurance fee on a regular basis. Like I said it only lasted 1 week. I am so upset with this phone that not only will i not buy another one, I will never buy another sony ericson.

I've had this product for 3-6 months
Cons: breaking keys, and registry issues
I bought the pink version of this phone, and my friend bought the white, but both were disappointing. The white one's keys break too easy, and it doesn't like to register the memory card.
