Excellent buy
If you tweek everything in your menus on you receiver, it is a definate steal. I bought it to have more volume on my lcd tv. With the adjustments I made, its sounds really really good. I have a blu ray connected to it with a digital coaxial cable, I have my xbox 360 hooked up by optical cable. And my blu ray has an hdmi hooked up to my tv. So I have 1080p for picture, dts and dolby for the sounds. Cant sound any better for the price.

Win Win
Pros: good sound, compatible with ps3, small speakers with enough wire
Cons: speakers can only be heard if you are in front of them, though that might now matter at higher volume settings
This is a good affordable system that goes well with my playstation 3. I use the optical digital cable to send dolby sound through the systems speakers. The receiver can process various settings including dolby digital and pro logic II. It doesn't have an hdmi input but I don't need one because I use the hdmi on my ps3 to connect to my bravia lcd. Sounds great even at low volumes, and the ipod digital media port is a plus.

Good Home Therater
This is a good home theater system.Not very expansive. Nice sound output like a theater.
