I've had this product for 6-12 months
Pros: Lots of features and great for Blue-Ray
Cons: Display looks to basic and needs an EQ.
For the money this is a great unit. There are some nice features that you would expect on a more expensive unit, such as HDMI ports and XM radio capability. The sound is fantastic for Blue-Ray. There is plenty of power to support the 7.1 home theater system. I would highly recommend.

Pros: Lots of bass, easy setup
Cons: Low on treble, no on TV menu, no equalizer
A good receiver for the price. Has lots of bass and I mean lots of it. But lacks on treble. I had to use a graphic equalizer to boost treble but still always want more. Display seems to be designed in 90s as it is very premitive. Remote is also basic. Remote controller angle is so narrow that you literally have to almost point straight to the receiver in order for it to work. Have never been able to understand the psychology of the designers who design these systems. Either they never use a remote or literally sit 2 feet from receiver. I/Os are almost enough. I had to think what to use as I wanted to hook up a Cassette deck and a CD player and didn't have enough inputs dedicated for these. Does not have an equalizer!!!! What Sony is calling equalizer for this receiver is bass and Treble so watch out. I have a low end Pioneer which has a true graphic equalizer built in. Front buttons are small and low quality. But if you buy this receiver at least you will not be disappointed with sound quality. I am using this with an Onkyo subwoofer and Yamaha NS-777 speakers.

Pros: 3 HDMI inputs, handles 7.1 sound.
Cons: No bluetooth remote like my PS3, but thats minor.
I already had a Sony DG510 but wanted a receiver that could handle full uncompressed 7.1 sound from HDMI. Perfect match for my PS3 since the PS3 can handle most (all?) of the major surround formats. Couldn't find another receiver with HDMI inputs that weren't pass-through for this price. Love it!
