Nickle and Dimers

Cons: Need extra accessories in order to use
I bought this speaker to use on my patio with my Home Theater System, model DAVHDX275 (which is pretty much the same as the DAVHDX285). I received it quickly in the mail and was anxious to see how well it works. However, once I thought I had it all set up and ready to go, I realized that I was missing an essential piece of the puzzle. That would be the S Air Transmitter, EZW T100. I felt totally mislead as the speaker's description states that it's plug and play and everything that I would need is in the box. And, of course, this accessory, that seems to have been made specifically for the two models of home theater systems that I previously mentioned, does not come with either system. So, after paying almost $300 for the Home Theater System, and then paying $120 for the wireless speaker, I then find out that I need to pay an additional $50 in order to use the equipment. And on top of that, the Transmitter that I so desperately needed to use this expensive speaker is on Back Order. So I have a $120 piece of equipment that might as well be trash, because I can't even use it. If Sony was going to nickle and dime anyone who bought either the DAVHDX275 or DAVHDX285, they could have at least made sure they had enough transmitters to use with these units to go around. That would only be the polite thing to do after charging their customers another $50 just for a stupid card to make their "wireless" system work.

S-Air system
Pros: Outstand sound and quality
Cons: Range of the speakers.
I just purchased the Sony S-Air system for my home. I am totally pleased with the performance of this system. I put a speaker in one room and the other in another and the performance is awesome. I can tune and switch channels with the independent remotes for each speaker. I HIGHLY recommend this system to my friends and family.
