Poor performance
Pros: Good functionalities to adjust the time and position of the pictures
Cons: Poor performance, bad design, lack of compatibility
It's maybe due to the fact that Geotagging is not mature yet but this product has poor performance, mainly in cities. Battery consumption is awful, doesn't last more than 5 hours with no possibility to recharge it or plug it into the car to avoid putting AA batteries in there. The software is complicated, not very well documented but after few hours playing with it, it provides got good functionalities to adjust the time and position of the pictures. The design is not very good, too big and need to face the sky to function, you can't just clip it to a bag otherwise it may search for a GPS signal and drain the battery in less than an hour. Not compatible with Mac !
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or later is required. The online map service is currently provided courtesy of Google, and is subject to change or termination without notice
- Movies taken by Handycam (MPEG and Motion JPEG files)and Cyber-shot (excluding DSC-M1/M2) are compatible.
- Compatible with the still image comply with Exif format version 2.1 or later
- Picture Motion Browser 3.0 required for Handycam camcorder
