Pros: design, sound
Cons: only holds 1 cd
this is an awesome product. the bass sounds great. it sounds okay at first, but after you activate the DSGX bass boost, it sounds awesome. it was shaking my room, and the two rooms surrounding it. if you want quality for a reasonable price this is the way to go.

Pros: everything!
Cons: ipod port is fragile
this thing is so perfect. i dont need like a HUGE amount of sound. but this definitely gets loud enough. the value is just incredible. i mean even if it isnt enough sound for your needs the price is just incredible for what you get. I would have expected to have to pay and extra 150 on this quality a product. its very compact and it fits anywhere. the only bad thing is I use the ipod port a LOT and the little adapter to connect the ipod is very weak and flimsy. you have to be very careful with it. if u are looking for a very reliable stereo, and your not made of money. buy this. its sound is high quality and its a great all around system. i recommend this if you are looking for your fist nice stereo.

I love this system. The System comes with 3 speakers which all sounds great. Its like HD without the tv. They sound so pefect, I can hear bass on one speaker, drums on the other, guitar and singing on the other. Its so awesome for parties and looks perfect anywhere. This set also comes with the ipod port to play ur ipod and ur ipod movies on it which is awesome!..I love this and is probaly the coolest thing in my living room!!..

The only thing that i am unhappy about is that the sub does not produce low frequencies. Its all high pass. Does anyone know where I could get a Low Pass Filter for it? thanks

Pros: Quality Sound
Cons: Takes up a lot of space...Still worth it though.
Enjoyed the first stereo system manufactured by Sony.... When Christmas time came, we couldn't find it in the stores anywhere. What better place to get it...the source.

Pros: Power, iPod control, Price, and Ability to handle lows
Cons: Short subwoofer cable, Must use iPod's screen to see what you're doing, and No low pass for the subwoofer
I have only had this system for a few months, but so far it has been working very well for me. It has great power especially with the 8" subwoofer. The iPods works very well with it, no matter what format your music is in. You do however need to use the iPod's screen to see what song or album you're on. The speakers are very clear, but they get too much high frequency bass when running the subwoofer. A low pass filter fixes that problem though. The subwoofer helps alot on the low frequency (around 100 Hz - 30 Hz). The CD player and radio are pretty standard except the ability to read mp3 discs. Overall for $200.00 I would highly recommend this system, and for about $5.00 more a low pass fiter makes it even better.
