i lucked out when i got this tv, i previously had a 50 inch Samsung DLP and i thought it was a great tv, i guess i had no idea what Sony and is HDNA was all about. so the hdmi on my samsung stopped working and best buy actually came through and told me to pick a brand new comparable tv. let me say that this tv is tooo real. at first there was a noticable difference from the the samsung. it looked like they were filming in my living room. i dont know how sony does it but its no joke, the picture is so good and real its unbelievable. you think you could litereally walk up to the tv and touch whats in front of you. this is a big boy tv.and the price is just right. if you care about life and want to be happy i highly recommend the purchase of this tv!!!!!

Beautiful piece of electronics. I had been looking for a nice T.V for my new home for a while and after all of the research I've done it seemed that this T.V would have been the right purchase. I am pleased to say that it exceeded all of my expectations. The picture quality especially when viewing Blu ray was unbelievable. And when you compare the Blu Ray picture to a competitor TV at any store, you can easily see the difference. The price on the Sony Style website beat just about everyone after all charges were taken into account. You can?t go wrong with a Bravia.

I purchased this LCD in June '08 when it came out on the market. It was the first time I ever spent $3000 on any A/V equipment. And I can honestly say that this has been the best purchase I've recently made! Hands down! It is my most prized possession! (My Precious)! :-) The good thing about it now is that the price has come down dramatically! So stop procrastinating!

Pros: Too many to list
Cons: NONE!!!
This is our first LCD flat panel TV. We went from a projection TV to this. I honestly don't see how technology can make TV's any better. We went with the SONY BRAVIA 52", HD cable box, SONY Blue Ray and a SONY home theater receiver. This is the best combination of home theater we have ever had. I like having one remote!!! Too early to rate the reliability but from everything I've heard it should be great. When we first hooked everything up I couldn't help but remember when I was a kid and my dad got our first color TV. We were all astounded by the NBC peacock in color. That is the same feeling I get every day when watching HD TV and Blue Ray movies. I am just amazed!

Pros: excellent picture
Cons: needs a great sound system
I looked at many tv's before i purchased this one. When I would look at the 52W in a store the picture wasn't given justice, because when I brought it home the picture was incrediable. The offair hd signal is picture perfect and the color is mesmorizing. You litterally can't take your eyes of the screen. I looked at tv's with a much bigger price tag, but this one was equal to those pricy ones.

I've had this product for 1-2 years
Pros: I can't say enough about it.
Cons: The only con is, I cannot jump in the movie while I am watching it, it is that good.
I recently purchased the 52W2100 and Blu-Ray player for my wife. I have a Bravia 40" to. The 52" is really outstanding. It is like being at the movies. We really enjoy watching HD-TV and Blu-Ray movies on our new Sony. I would highly reccomend this LCD if you are looking for 50" or better. Very easy to set up.

Cons: Horrible Black Levels
This is a very nice tv. i work at best buy and chose this one after watching it side buy side with others. I literally took it off the wall and place it next to other tv's and loved it. I just wish i picked a different movie to compare. After buying the dark night on blu-ray I was almost ready to send it back. i've adjusted the black levels enough over the past couple months to where it's not as bad. If i had known this before i would have went with the xbr series, which i would recommend others considering this lcd to do. I'm and installer, but never set-up one of these just the xbr's. I saw the dark night recently on a customer lcd and notice a huge difference in black levels. If you look at the review on cnet it's dead on. I would get the xbr.
