Pros: Works great with 3Gs Iphones
Cons: No Snooze feature for alarm clock
This radio sounds great and charges my iphone at night, but it is no good as an alarm clock because there is no snooze option and has no battery backup for the alarm clock.

Pros: This superb over-the-air HD music listening is unbeatable!
Cons: I'll also add to the station preset loss after 5 unplugged minutes.
Being an "informed risk-taker" by nature, and without previously having heard an HD radio, I bought this one at SonyStyle.com, based on the Sony reputation. And was not dissapointed. Also, for the maximum signal reception quality, add on a "digital radio ready" Terk model Q powered indoor AM/FM antenna, a benefit in the rural West. Note: I do not own/use either iPod/Iphone devices, but it could be handy for iPod-packing visitors. Signed: one happy camper.

Pros: Sounds OK, works will with iPod
Cons: Not a viable clock radio, No memory
In this day and age, having a digital radio without a little bit of nonvolatile memory, to store user programmed data, is simply inexcusable. A battery-backedup clock would be asking too-much of Sony engineers.

Pros: Works perfectly with iphone.
Cons: A little on the expensive side, but still worth every penny.
Great product, clear sound, crisp design, works well with the iphone. One of the best design features in my opinion is that you can have your iphone hooked up without having to remove the protective case. (I have the incase slider case.) It also charges the iphone, which is another great feature. The HD radio is sweet, the sound quality is better than standard radio and the song information is visible for many stations in my area. All of the clock features are visible and easy to use. Which to me is important because I have this product in my bedroom. The only downside it is a little on the expensive side, but it's still worth every penny.

Pros: sounds great .. but
Cons: missing HD TV sound
this would be the ULITMATE HD package with HD TV sound.. with the AM/FM HD and HD TV ..would be the holy grail in the new era of digital broadcasting.. as of now I will keep looking..
I just got my HD/ Ipod player yesterday. The sound is crystal clear once you hook up the antenna that comes with it. It can be compared to a Bose sound system. The only downside is that if you are going to use it in different places you should know that the preset radio stations and the time reset every time you unplug it for more then 5 minutes.

Pros: Ipod touch 2g compatible
Cons: No battery back up for even short power blips.
I am really impressed with hd radio which does suprise me. I got this mainly because it is ipod touch compatible. The one real negative is that it has no battery backup and looses all the stored stations in memory and even the time with just a blip type power outage-what a dissappointment in an otherwise stellar product. I can not believe the engineers overlooked this in the design.

Pros: Crystal Clear sound , High Tech look
Cons: Needs about 12 W /12 W of power
One of the better Sony purchases I've made. This radio fulfills two of my greatest needs: 1. Beautiful clear radio sound in my dental operatory to sooth my patients 2. The ability to choose my Ipod sound to suit the mood of my patients. I think I've already sold a couple more of these to people in the office who have heard it! My only complaint is it could use more watts to keep the distortion down. Overall, I really like it.
