Pros: everything
Cons: glossy paint
really good game system and multimedia center. one of the best blu ray player in the market. the only problem is that the fan gets loud so it gets annoying if you dont turn up the volume. and we can easily get dust, fingerprints, and scratch on the system

I bought this for Christmas for my 15 year old son. He was thrilled and kept rubbing the case and saying look at that beautiful design. He had no trouble setting up a wireless router to connect it to the internet and I love being able to access the internet now in the living room. So far everything works great and it seems Sony has worked out the bugs so far.

Pros: Blue ray, gaming, internet wifi
Cons: takes awhile to download a hd movie(3 hours)
I wanted a blue ray player and this was perfect. Movies play wonderful on the system. And I found myself loving the gaming system. The design is sleek, love the way the disk's load, and I can download games, movies, and even rent movies over the wifi.

Pros: Great HD gaming system
Cons: Analog stick for aiming is not so good with Resistance
Great packing and fast shipping (free 3-day shipping during this holiday season is awesome). The game console working great out of the box, and the wireless remote control is charging fast while playing the Resistance.

Pros: Easy setup, lots of powerful features, BluRay excels
Cons: Heat, lack of infrared remote receiver for compatibility w/ U-Verse
We upgraded our main TV recently to one of the best 50" plasmas available, and wanted to step up to BluRay to take full advantage of the 1080p resolution. After lots of internet and in-store shopping, we decided to buy the best-reviewed player and get a leading gaming system thrown in for free. The sound and picture are truly amazing - I did simultaneous A/B comparisons of my old upconverting DVD playing Band of Brothers, vs. the PS-3 with the BluRay discs, and the crispness and detail are astounding. Map labels at the pre-invasion briefing scene were smudged out on DVD, and I would have attributed this to being out of focus, but are clearly readable and crisp on BluRay. Setup was very straightforward - Sony doesn't throw you to the wolves on the internet connection like some manufacturers - the esoteric options are there, but the suggested settings talked painlessly to my Apple wireless network. Games are amazing, but when the processor is really cranking, it throws off a lot of heat - not a complaint, just an observation that closing this up in an entertainment cabinet would not be a good idea.

Pros: Love-it, nice graphics, internet browser, remote play
Cons: a little big could use some redesign
The PS3 has more processors, built-in wifi, and the games have storage of up to 50 gigs while the 360 has none of these and its games have storage of only up to 4.7 gigs. NOT TO MENTION the XBOX 360 SOUNDS LIKE A RATTLE SNAKE WHEN YOUR PLAYING A GAME BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
