Pretty Annoying

Pros: Great Idea for Streaming HD

Cons: Poor Product Quality Not Worth the Market

I have never been annoyed so much by a Sony product and trust me I have owned hundreds...This Wireless Link is not ready for the market and really needs to be recalled and remodified by Sony. It would work if I get lucky and if the two(receiver and the transmitter) connect to each other, audio drop outs will add to your annoyance even more. Think about it, you are watching a movie and every minute or so, there is no audio for like 5-8 seconds! Pretty sad...I am going to have to call the CS as I have trouble pairing the two as it works only once connected, but when I need to change the wireless channel, it will never reconnect. Pretty disappointing!

I love Sony products, I bought the Sony Link system (DMX-WL1) at a steep price. The link is only 3.5' away from the TV and receiver. There is nothing between them to interfere or cause a bad connection. When the signal is from an analog station it connects right away but if I am on a digital station it might not link at all. For Sony to have it's name on it I think it should be much better then it is. If you do buy it make sure you can return it if your not happy.

Works as advertised

Works flawlessly from about 10 feet away. I have a stone fireplace with brick behind the stone. There is no possible way to hide wires in the wall so this is the perfect solution. Great picture, no percievable lag with PS3 games. Strong signal with zero interference so far. I do not have any other devices that use 5ghz. My 2.4ghz devices (wirelessG and cordless phone) do not cause a problem. Good value if there is no other way. Connected to sony Bravia 46Z.

Finding out that this only support 1080i was a disappointment, and then I starting seeing color stripes and other compression artifacts even at the lower resolution. The audio outages and radio interference warnings in the box were further disappointments. This one's going back

Disappointed in this wireless link, picture quality is great, but the sound goes out for a few seconds every few minutes. Tried changing the channels on the wireless link but makes no difference. After buying the 52XBR7 and this wireless link you dont expect to lose the sound every few minutes for a few seconds. The distance between the transmitter and reciever is about 20'.
