Enjoy the ultimate in full-function portable audio with the ZS-S4iP CD boombox. More than your average CD player and digital AM/FM tuner, you can also play the tunes stored on your compatible iPhone™ or iPod® music player. This boombox features a secure docking compartment that protects and charges your iPod or iPhone, while the alternate cover permits direct control of your music. In addition to controlling your music directly from your iPod or iPhone, the supplied remote provides access to your tunes from across the room.
Compatibility

Good Modern Boombox
Pros: Good sound, good looks
Cons: Does not get very loud
This is a very good sounding boombox. I use it only to play CD's. It plays loud enough for where I will be using it, but there are other situations where it would not be loud enough, such as an outdoor cookout. I have owned many boomboxes, mostly Sonys, and this one ranks uo there with the best sound for the size. I would like to hear it up against the Bose Wave system.

Low volume
Pros: I pod dock
Cons: low low volume
Everything about the radio is fantastic except for one thing that makes it worthless. The volume is so low even on 10 you can only use it inside in a quiet room. It can?t be used at a party or outside. Can Sony make a fix for this problem

Great!!!
Pros: Great Price Point, Good Sound Quality, Utilizes All Platforms
Much better sound quality than the old model. Great buy for the price and you're not paying an arm and a leg like the Bose systems. Utilizes I-Pod function with ease from remote. I would reccommend this unit to anyone looking for a great kitchen, bedroom, or smaller room radio that does it all!
- Works with iPod 4th generation, iPod 4th generation (color display), iPod 5th generation (video), iPod mini 1st and 2nd generation, iPod nano 1st generation, iPod nano 2nd generation (aluminum), iPod Touch, iPod Nano 3rd generation (video),iPod Nano 4th generation (video), iPod classic and iPhone.
- CD-R/RW media/formats are not universally compatible.
