Additional features include an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, a large easy-to-read LCD and an included remote control that lets you access all the music on your iPod or iPhone from across the room.
Compatible with most iPod® players and iPhone™1 models.
Dual alarm (2/5/7 day) settings let you set two separate wake-up times with the option of waking up to your iPod® player or iPhone™1, CD, the radio, or a buzzer.
A large LCD display allows for an easy-to-see digital time display.
When Daylight Savings Time changes take place every spring and fall, there's no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments.

Set the alarm to wake you with music from your favorite CD, your iPod® player or iPhone™1, your favorite radio station, or a buzzer.
While your iPod® player or iPhone™ is on the dock1, it will charge so you never have to worry about running low on battery life3.
The correct Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone time is preset, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns, you don't have to reset the clock.
Easily connect other digital music players to the clock radio for easy access to all of your music using the line-in jack and supplied audio connecting cable.
Hidden sliding dock tray enables you to connect your compatible iPod® player or iPhone™ for easy access to your favorite music through your clock radio1.
Preset volume control enables you to avoid those loud, rude awakenings and wake up to just the right level of sound from the iPod® player, iPhone™1, CD or radio.
Control your iPod or iPhone1 music functions from across the room with the included full-function remote control.
If the alarm was set and the power goes out, the alarm buzzer will still sound even if the alarm was set for the radio, iPod® player, iPhone™1 or CD.
Stereo speakers provide a complete and enjoyable listening experience.

This radio has no internal antenna for AM. If you want to use AM, do not bother with this CD AM/FM radio. I have three other Sony portables and all have built in "no trouble" AM antennas This Dream Machine ICF CD3iP demands that two very tiny wires be slid into two impossible to see slots for the AM to work. The outside antenna that is supplied looks cheap.

Pros: Nice size, compact, easy to see time
Cons: Very confusing to set the radio alarm
I bought this for a gift for my fiance to save space on the night stand, so he can wake up to the radio vs. the blarring sound of a buzzer. For the life of us, we both can't figure out how to get the alarm to go to radio, when we try and set it, it always defaults to the buzzer or does not go off at all, and he is late to see his patients. The radio antenna is not great and the radio sound is not so clear, I'm guessing the designers assumed most people would not use the radio, rather the iPod or iPhone. Outside of these 2 issues, everything else is great.

Pros: -Love the nice sliding dock for iPhone/iPod -They come with an iPhone universal adapter (not an iPod) -Led light brightness settings are fine for me -Sound is ok for it serves more of an alarm clock (more of speaker sound) -iPhone 3G compatible -iPhone 3G charges without any error message, make sure you align it properly and carefully when docking -CapsuleNeo for iPhone 3G with dock adapter fits it wohooo! -Since CapsuleNeo would fit, I'm almost certain any case with the right "universal adapter" will fit this dock -They really made this for an iPhone in mind (but not entirely) -All alarm features work fine as describer (with radio,iPod/iPhone,buzzer,CD) -CD features would let you repeat, repeat all, shuffle -It includes an audio in, in case you want to connect it to other devices -There's also a jack if you want to connect this radio clock to better speakers -Time feature (Pacific Standard Time for me) with auto DST correct -Neat round design -Remote can almost do anything -BEST PART: Their back up battery for clock and especially ALARM feature! I've been hating alarm clocks that won't buzz when power goes down (or got a reset or something) Cons: -Remote can't do the sleep feature, you have to press the button on the clock, I was hoping they would allow you to do it on the remote -Remote won't be able to toggle the Shuffle/Repeat/Repeat All for the iPod playlists on your iPod/iPhone ...this I really want -You need to be careful of the front part, since it's the CD cover for the player. Overall: For $99 I'd say it's recommended, the cons that I listed are mostly owner-based. The only thing was that the shuffle feature or the repeat for the iPhone won't work on the remote nor the Clock radio itself. So if I had to rate this from 1 to 10 being ten the highest, I'll give this one an eight! It's definitely recommended.

Pros: It has a CD and Ipod player part, a radio and an alarm clock, which could be used for each item mentioned.
Cons: It is very sensitive, I rather sensitivity instead of hard little buttons to push.
This item is compact and great to sit on a night stand or desk. I absolutely love it. The reviews that I have read weren't that helpful, but I own many electronics that are made by Sony so I knew that it had to be an excellent item. I love the style. This radio just looks so nice for such a compact item. The clock is labeled in dark black embeded print so that it is easy for people to find the radio, CD player and Ipod player. I like how the CD and Ipod players aren't visible to the eye. All you have to do is read the printed part next to each item and open each part to see where they are located on the Radio. The radio sounds crisp and clear. If you are looking for a Boom Box this is not it. I mainly bought this item to wake me up and to listen to the radio, in the mornings while I am getting ready for work. I tried everything on this radio to see how they work and I want you to know that it plays the CD, Radio and Ipod very clearly. I am so proud of Sony . This is a great item to purchase; that is why I gave it 5 stars. I don't know what people were fussing about so much when they mention how the light on the clock is too bright. Those people must have a very tiny bedroom. It is a perfect item, you will truly love it.

Pros: good FM reception, A/B alarms fully customizable, large clock LCD, iPod connectivity, good remote
Cons: possibly brightness control on LCD and really small buttons
first of all, all those comments about display being too bright. I feel the lowest setting is just right. allows you to move around at night without switching on a light. FM radio reception / quality is good. CD player function works like a charm, even played my CD-R's. havent tried the iPod dock yet, but should work flawlessly. liked the little remote which came with it. allows me to change to preset FM stations as well as CD and iPod control. since its such a small unit, you have to be careful with handling the CD / iPod mechanism. overall very pleased with this purchase. good product for a price that cant be beat

Styling is great. Sounds good. Like having the ability to play both CDs as well as my iPod/iPhone.
