The phone is stylish, sleek and sexy! The touch screen is very good and the colors are great. I have never had a dropped call (i'm with t-moble) but I have had reveb. The different panels are great, I would like to see a panel that you can design and use on your phone. The biggest problem I have with the phone is it's incompatibility with my car (MB SL series). According to MB, it is only compatible with the C series. When sending text, it always lets you know the message was sent. 20% of the time you can not dismiss this message and it holds up the phone. The WIFI uses up so match battery power and the internet is not as fast as I would have expected it be. Long story short, for the price, I expected more.

Now I know that many people dislike Windows Mobile, because it is very clunky on other smartphones; the Xperia X1 fixes that. The X1 makes Windows Mobile fast, responsive, and a joy to use. The panel interface also adds even more functionality to the OS. The design screams sexy, and the attention to detail is outstanding. It is great to not only have the gorgeous touchscreen, but the keyboard, optical joystick, and the softkey directional buttons means that there is always a perfect way to navigate through programs. The battery is great, I can get all day out of it with heavy use of 3G internet, along with lots of talking and texting. This phone is expensive, but you are paying for perfection!

Pros: Performance, Design & Looks
Cons: Camera, Price
I've always been a SE fan and I was wondering if I was making a mistake buying the X1 but I've had my phone foe almost 2 weeks now and I'm loving it! The phone is perfect for as much as I use it, the screen is great, I love the hardware keyboard and the panels. I get excellent signal strength on AT&T in the Houston area and call quality is as good as any other SE I've had in the past. The only let down in the 3.2 MP camera which takes about 5 seconds to take a pic but videos are excellent. If you can afford the phone and want to be different, go for it!

Pros: Build, style, functionality
Cons: Battery life, fonts too small
I had this device and thought it was great but returned it because with my eyes (50+) I found that the screen was just too hard to read. That the available font sizes were not large enough. The device itself is great as it's performance. Be gone the bad reviews of the initial release, Sony has fixed these issues with the current release. Unfortunately with the largest font selected I often found I had to put on my reading glassed, which I rarely have to use. Thus adding a step of having to wear glasses to take full advantage of this device.

Pros: Lots of features
Cons: Learning curve
This is my first smartphone. Previously, had walk type phones, which were great for music. This phone is a minature computer with a walkman type music player. I am still learning how to use all of the features. The wi-fi is unreal, plus the rss feeds, etc.
