Pros: Pretty
Cons: Bad quality remote/fuzzy digital display
This is not an inexpensive TV, but it is about as reliable as the cheapest. The remote stopped working in 6months and 10 days. I'm a single person, so it wasn't overuse. Shoddy workmanship. Save your money and buy the cheapest TV you can because you don't get what you pay for with this one.

Pros: Everything
Cons: image
I bought this tv because I wanted to get 1080p with this tv. I was watching a Bluray Movie and the picture was grainy/fuzzy. Im not sure if it was the movie or the tv?

Pros: Can't seem to find a major flaw with this unit as of yet
Cons: Audio Output stuck to fixed
This LCD TV is great. It brought my XBOX 360 to life. the picture is so amazing. Plenty of connections for all of my peripherals. The picture was excellent when hooked up with my computer as well. The one thing that bothered me is the RCA audio output. It's set to fixed. I cannot afford to build an excellent home theather system. On my old tv, the one that wa replaced by this one, had the same audio out, but it was variable. By that the level was controlled by the volume on the TV. I use this output to add a powered subwoofer to give the sound more definition. Unfortunately with this TV it's fixed so I always had to manually walk upto it and adjust it. The USB port attached to the TV is for service only. Hopefully Sony can provide an update to allow for a variable output with the RCA out jacks.

Pros: Evereything.
Cons: No cons!
I live in an apartment, and this 32" tv is just the right size. The color is brilliant, the sound is perfect, and the style is very nice. I bought this tv from SonyStyle.com on July 2, 2009. I'm so happy that I made the right decision. I always buy Sony products, and have never been let down. Thank you

Pros: Good Name Brand, Very good Color, has many Inputs, good sound
Cons: Displayed a "USB Device Current Overload" message two days after buying it.
Well the above basically says it all. The TV worked fine for two days and then the "Service Only" usb hub seemed to start going out and displaying a "USB Device Current Overload" message when the only USB port is for "Service Only" ! Other than the failing hardware (don't you guys have a QA dept.?) the TV was beautiful and well designed...on the outside. Has very good color and supports the RGB spectrum nicely ( I have a Apple Mac Mini hooked to it). Very displeased with the fact the hardware is going bad two days after paying >$500 dollars for it. I'm going to try my luck with another one to see if this may have been a fluke, will update or post another review to let you guys know how that one turned out.

Pros: Brilliant picture quality, color & contrast, ease of setup and use, variable aspect adjustments
Cons: Needs direct input selections on remote, quicker response to switching
I was looking for a new television to replace my 2-1/2 year-old 32" LCD set (different brand) that had stopped working. I looked at what was available at the store (on the store website) where I was supposed to do a warranty exchange for my old set. I looked at several sets and limited my choices to four, from viewing specs and reading product reviews on those four. I chose the Sony Bravia KDL32L5000 32" LCD television after viewing my four choices in the store, reviewing the specs again, and also from a friend's experience with the same brand, but different size, set. Comparing three of the four side-by-side, I then had to go to a different aisle to view the Sony. Not only did the Sony have a superior picture, with more natural colors and skin tones, but it also had the best black level/contrast. I didn't like having to install the stand on the TV, but it did install easily (four screws). The unit was well-packaged when I unpacked it. It was very easy to set up, with the needed inputs in one compact rear-facing panel. The setup menu was concise and easy to follow. It didn't take long to have the set up and running. The remote is compact and simple to operate, with all controls well-marked. The on-screen menus have clear, easy-to-read and understand selections. There's really no guesswork involved, or extra steps involved to get from one section to the next. One of the best features I discovered (and love) in the settings was a multi-level zoom feature, which allows aspect ratio adjustments, not only horizontally (width) but also vertically (height) which can partially eliminate the "black bars" which are part of some widescreen movies, where the picture initially appears stretched too far, horizontally. The picture quality on cable (not digital) is good. The contrast and color are very natural. Using an upconverter DVD player through an HDMI input, films are displayed brilliantly. There are a multitude of adjustments which can be made to suit the needs of the individual user, but I found that very few adjusments were necessary for my tastes. The sound quality is adequate from the built-in speakers, with a greater range of adjustment for volume than my previous television. It also has an automatic volume leveling feature, which works very well. No more annoying sound jumps during commercials! The Sony Bravia was the first choice on my list to look at, when I went to exchange my old television. (I was allowed $399.99 as a credit toward a "comparable" replacement set.) While the other three on my list were priced identically ($499.99), the Bravia was actually $50 less expensive, even though it was the standout in quality in every regard. The housing of the set was also more appealing. The other three units were all high-gloss "piano black," while the Sony Bravia has a matte finish surrounding the screen, which will eliminate alot of unwanted glare near the picture. One feature that I wish the remote had is single-button selections for various inputs. One has to go through the menu and scroll to select the input. Selecting the HDMI input takes several seconds to engage and display, but changing back to cable is almost instantaneous. I am very happy with my Bravia. I'm reminded of an "old school" advertisement where a man is showing pictures of his wife, kids, etc. to someone, and then he shows a picture of his television, and says, "... and this is my Sony." Now I know how he felt!

Pros: Clarity and depth of color. Great reception with only an antenna. Reception is even better with cable or satellite
Cons: At this time I have found no cons. Maybe later.
This is a great TV. Before purchasing the Bravia, I shopped and compared many, many brands and styles. I found that the Bravia color was more life like than any of the others I previewed. As always Sony is tops in my book.
