The player was purchased as a sports music player - I run, rock climb, hike, bike, etc. Once you sweat on it a few times, which, you'd think would be expected use for an ultra-portable mp3 player, it WILL begin to malfunction, and eventually stop working. SONY had finally designed the PERFECT SPORTS MP3 PLAYER, but screwed it up by not putting enough gaskets on the thing!! If they were to make a more water/sweat-resistant version, I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased this product at Walmart. I exchanged the 1st one after it completely stopped working after I used it 3 times during my workouts. The 2nd one worked for a few weeks and has now completely stopped working. I, like many people, sweat during a workout. I do not think that this product can stand-up to the sweat test. Now, I'm stuck with a non-working MP3 player and out of $59. It is a good design idea but will not hold up if you are a person that worksout everyday or every other day.
The days of becoming unplugged during a run or workout are over. With the remarkable design of the compact NWZ-W202BLK W Series Walkman® MP3 player, you never have to worry about dangling wires again. There's even a Zappin™ feature that scans through your tunes by playing a portion of the main melody and letting you choose to skip or play it. It includes a handy dock, perfect for charging and loading your music.
This exclusive MP3 player’s unique spiral form fits compactly around your head so you can now be hands-free and totally cord-free.
The sleek, standalone charger with USB connection gives a 90 minute charge in just 3 minutes. With a total battery life of over 12 hours, you don’t have to put your life on hold.2
The wearable 13.5mm EX headphones1 offer exceptional sound quality with “clear audio technology” and maximum comfort while insulating sound through the hybrid silicone structure.
Find the perfect music for the moment, by Zappin™ forward, allowing you to easily navigate through your song collection by playing back main melodies or by using the Jog Dial™ to scroll and select your ideal track without the need for buttons.

Pros: MOBILITY!
Cons: none really
I bought this player for running, it is excellent for that purpose. The fact that the whole player is in the headphones is great. This mp3 player can go anywhere the sound quality is great, the zappin' in cool. really the only thing that i found bad about this mp3 player is that its easy to lose because it is so small. A great buy especially for the price!

Pros: wireless design
Cons: cheap tinny sound no bass adjustments
This headset is great to work out in or anything where you are moving around. No wires to get tangled or caught! However there is NO bass, treble, equalizer adjustments to sound at all! No mega bass or nothing. It really does sound like the transistor radio I had when I was a kid and would plug the earphone in my ear. After a short time it is annoying especially if you are accustomed to great sounding music. why does it seem that their is always a significant tradeoff made when a new idea is introduced. It's like they forget about everything else just to get the new concept out on the market, and then the bad news pours in.

Pros: Easy setup, easy to use
Cons: None
I was a little leary about getting an MP3 player that goes behind the head, but this feels comfortable. And the sound quality is superb. I have 2 other players and this is so easy and simple to use. The operation of the player while sitting on your ears is so easy. Downloading is a snap. I look forward to doing all my chores or even just relaxing and listening to music without having all the wires dangling all over me.
